Ian Collinson LLB (Lond)
Ian, who is the firm’s senior partner, was educated at Scarborough College and at the University of London. He trained at Drivers, qualifying in 1972 and he is based at our Malton office. He deals mainly with commercial, domestic and agricultural property work and acts for a number of national companies and organisations.
George Knowles B.A.
George who was educated at St. Peter’s School, York and Newcastle Polytechnic (now Northumbria University) and trained with Drivers, qualifying in 1982. George is based at our York office and is a commercial property and residential development specialist, acting for many builders and developers, both locally and nationally.
Stephen Thorn M.A. (Cantab)
Stephen was educated in Derbyshire and at Cambridge University and trained in the City of London, qualifying in 1986, before spells with firms in Norwich and the Yorkshire Dales. Stephen joined Drivers in 1996. He is based at our Malton office and deals mainly with Probate, Wills and Trusts together with general private client work, including conveyancing. He is a member of the Agricultural Law Association.
